Let's Talk Addiction | Episode 1

Addiction is a serious issue, which is widespread in society today, and affects all generations. In particular, it is very relevant and common for us as university students and young adults - whether it is the usual culprits of addiction (the misinterpretation of addiction as implying only substance and alcohol abuse), or the more subtle yet serious addictions such as social media and gaming.

As part of our #BreakFree campaign by the VOIS Cyprus Mental Health Committee, we bring you a new series called "Let's Talk Addiction" in the form of table talks.

In each episode, we highlight a new type of addiction, via a discussion with people who have been or are going through it. Stay tuned for our next episode which will be on 'Gaming', hosting more people, and having a larger discussion.
