VOIS Cyprus' Lefkoşa Representatives embarked on a Pet Care Project today - Saturday (April 3rd, 2021), in CIU Lefkoşa to feed stray Dogs and Cats around the area, as part of its social responsibility. The meeting point for the activity was the CIU Breakpoint. 🐾

We also had the kind participation of of members of the Community who joined the project/initiative, as we sough to ensure that our fur friends are also taken care of during these times. 😁

In these trying times, we truly appreciate our Representatives in Lefkoşa, who supported this initiative with their limited resources. 🙏🏻

Depending on how safe times are, and interests by our audience, we might be able to conduct the same exercise in other cities, with all of your help.

We would like to use this medium to urge our fellow international students (and foreign Expats) to try not to contribute knowingly or unknowingly to the homelessness of these animals, when we either adopt without considerations of long term commitments or safe arrangements for the re-homing of our pets after we graduate (leave), or when we move to houses that often do not allow pet ownership. ℹ️

Our fur friends are more than just pets; they become family too. 💖
