📌 VOIS delegation meets YODAK (Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council of of the TRNC) to discuss many of the issues faced by international students.

VOIS delegation visited YODAK office and met its president, Mr Turgay Avcı, alongside other board members to discuss face to face education, issues with quarantine, and other developments and to find a way to develop/strengthen the student community and the local community.

YODAK is working to make sure that Antigen tests are going to be free for all students, and we hope this is achieved soon.

We are working together as well to ensure that the complaints by international students regarding long standing issues with univerisites, as well as new issues with regards to quarantine and face to face education brought to the attention of univerisites and governmental bodies are solved appropriatetly and timely.

With the help of YODAK, a Committee is being formed and established that will include representatives from several major authorities in the TRNC, alongside VOIS Cyprus in hopes of improving the efficiency of solving international students issues and the betterment of their lives. We are looking forward to the prompt establishment of this Committee.

As YODAK have published before, they are going to be releasing all announcements important for international students in English on their website, alongside lending a helping hand to us in the attempts to solve and improve conditions for international students.
