On Saturday, 28 May 2022, VOIS Cyprus volunteers participated in a fundraising training which was organized by VOIS Cyprus as part of THE GAP Project which is financed by the European Union and co-financed by the US Embassy of Cyprus.

The purpose of this training was to develop/create a fundraising committee and develop a strategy through which we can raise funds for VOIS' activities. Being able to raise the necessary funds to run our activities and better represent the international student community, is something VOIS has struggled with. This training and the strategies discussed will be developed and tested in the nearest future.

We also want to call on the general public to please donate to VOIS Cyprus in order to facilitate our job of representing international students. Often, our volunteers have to make enormous sacrifices especially financially just to be able to do what we do. Your contributions will go a long way to helping VOIS Cyprus and by extension the international student community.
